You: We are seeking an experienced Immunopeptidomics scientist to join our innovative discovery team, working in a state-of-the-art mass spectrometry laboratory.

Role Requirements:
  • PhD or equivalent in quantitative biology, biochemistry, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of documented experience in modern mass spectrometry instrumentation.
  • Strong background in mass spectrometry and quantitative proteomics, with expertise in immunopeptidomic research and target validation MS methods.
  • Proficiency in DDA, DIA, PRM, and downstream analysis using tools. e.g. Peaks, MaxQuant, and Skyline.
  • Solid understanding of basic biochemistry and molecular biology relevant to proteomics and immunopeptidomics.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively in team environments.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Support the seamless data acquisition processes in our LC-MS laboratory.
  • Optimise ultra-low input methods for DDA, DIA and PRM, collaborating with leading instrument technology manufacturers.
  • Support sample preparation of large cohorts for LC-MS analysis.
  • Maintain equipment and liaise with service and engineering teams.
  • Manage budgeting and ordering of consumables for the LC-MS.
  • Engage in outward-facing activities, including presentations and conference attendance.
  • Contribute to training activities, providing technical guidance to less experienced staff.
  •  Drive technological developments in immunopeptidomics, with opportunities to access grant funding.
Management / leadership experience​:
  • Previous experience working in mass spectrometry facilities/labs or services in industry and academia.
  • Previous experience working in teams and providing training and support for junior or less experienced staff.
Location / office requirements:
  • The majority of the work will require travel to the Infinitopes HQ and roles will be split between the lab and office based
  • Working from home is permitted.
